Changelog - What is New in Socioverse

The Socioverse changelog lists every release in plain language: new features, improvements, and named fixes. It is updated as things ship rather than on a quarterly cycle.

2026-09-29 - Planets Bookings: see and manage every call booked from your Planet

Calls booked from your Planet now have their own page, you are emailed about every one, and moving or cancelling a call keeps your Google Calendar and the buyer's calendar in step.

A Bookings page in Planets - Upcoming, past and cancelled calls, grouped by day in your time zone, with the buyer, their notes, the Google Meet link and a Join button that opens 15 minutes before the call. Search, filter by booking product and export to CSV.
Move or cancel a call from Planets - Pick another open time and the buyer gets an updated invite. Cancel a free call with an optional message. A paid call is cancelled by refunding it.
An email for every booking - The workspace owner is emailed when a call is booked, moved or cancelled, with the time, the buyer's notes and the Meet link.
Cancelled and refunded calls free their slot again - Cancelling or refunding a call left its event on your Google Calendar, so that time could never be booked again. The event is now removed, and moved calls are moved in Google Calendar too.
Buyers reschedule inside your availability - The buyer's reschedule link now offers only times you are open, keeps the call's real length (it assumed 30 minutes), and is required for any change. The link is in the confirmation email and every reminder.
Free calls get a booking confirmation, not a payment receipt - Free bookings no longer say "Payment received" with an amount of $0.00.

2026-09-22 - Socioverse v2: DM automation is free, with unlimited DMs

The free plan now runs unlimited DM automations and unlimited DMs. Sign up before 31 December 2026 and that is locked in for the life of your account. v2 also adds Agent mode and a redesigned app. Why we made DM automation free (/blog/why-instagram-dm-automation-is-free)

Free DM automation with unlimited DMs - Comment triggers, story replies, auto-reply, templates and the asset bank on the free plan, with unlimited automations and unlimited DMs on one Instagram account. Free-plan DMs carry a small "Sent with Socioverse" line; paid plans remove it and add the Smart Follow Gate.
Locked in before 31 December - Every workspace created before 31 December 2026 keeps unlimited DM automations and unlimited DMs for the life of the account, whatever the free plan looks like later.
Agent mode - One agent that runs your Instagram from idea to sale. It is on the Creator plan and above, and the 7-day Creator trial includes it.
A redesigned app - The whole front end is redesigned.

2026-08-25 - Five new free tools, and a caption bug that was eating large reels

A caption generator, hashtag generator, engagement rate calculator, fonts generator and chat link generator, all ungated. Plus a fix for the reason caption generation failed on big uploads.

Five free Instagram tools - Caption generator, hashtag generator by reach tier, engagement rate calculator with benchmarks by account size, bio fonts generator, and an ig.me chat link builder. No signup on any of them.
Caption generation failed on videos over about 100 MB - The caption engine loaded the whole video into memory before sending it for analysis, which killed the worker outright on large uploads - you saw a generic non-2xx error with no explanation. Video now streams straight through, and anything past the analysis ceiling returns a caption instead of an error.
Leads from inbound DMs were never being created - A database constraint rejected every lead whose source was an inbound DM. The message was still received and auto-replies still fired, so nothing looked broken - but the contact never reached your Lead Bank. New DM senders now appear as leads.
Manually sent DMs now log against the lead - Sending a DM by hand from the Lead Bank failed to write the interaction to that lead's timeline, so the history looked emptier than it was.
Security, DPA, cookie and AI transparency pages - Full sub-processor list, data residency, Instagram token handling, and a straight answer on whether your content trains anyone's model. It does not.

2026-08-22 - Comparison pages, and onboarding that starts with your account

Every competitor comparison rebuilt on real, verified pricing, and a new onboarding flow that shows you your own Instagram before it asks you for anything.

60-second Mirror onboarding - New workspaces now open on a live view of your own account instead of an empty dashboard, so the first thing you see is your content rather than a setup checklist.
All 13 comparison pages rebuilt - Each one now leads with where the competitor genuinely wins before making our case, and every price on them is verified against the vendor's published pricing rather than remembered.
Acquisition analytics in the admin panel - Signup sources, activation rate and connect rate are now visible per cohort, so the funnel is measurable instead of anecdotal.
Database functions pinned to an explicit search path - A hardening pass on every custom database function, closing a class of privilege-escalation risk flagged by the security advisor.

2026-08-15 - Mail Desk, and per-plan AI model routing

A full email client inside Socioverse, and the ability to route each AI feature to a different model depending on plan tier.

Mail Desk - Read, star, label, archive and bulk-manage email inside Socioverse in a three-pane client, with full message bodies stored rather than subject lines alone.
AI model routing by plan - Each AI surface can now be pointed at a different provider and model per plan tier from Admin, so higher tiers get stronger models without a code change.
Platform logos on Planet link blocks - Link blocks now render the right platform mark automatically, and the profile header no longer breaks on long display names or missing avatars.
31 defects across Planet Studio - A full audit pass over the storefront editor, block renderer and public page - theme panel bugs, block ordering, and several states that rendered blank.

2026-08-11 - Email design system v3

Every email Socioverse sends - auth, billing, campaigns, reports - rebuilt on one branded template system.

One template system for all 16 senders - Authentication, billing notices, weekly reports and campaign emails now share a single design system, so a brand change happens once rather than sixteen times.
Secure video player for course content - Course videos are now served through a protected player rather than a direct file link, so paid lessons cannot be shared by copying a URL.
